Allies Linked for the Prevention of HIV/AIDS (A.L.P.H.A.) is an organization that provides educational trainings on HIV/AIDS transmission and stigma, free HIV/AIDS testing, safe-sex education and materials, and support for those living with HIV/AIDS. Services include grocery shopping, light housework, medication pick-up, and companionship. A.L.P.H.A. also hosts annual HIV/AIDS awareness events and has an extensive calendar of social and advocacy events.

Study of Health Centers and Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Questions

In order to better understand how a diverse group of people would respond when these questions are asked, several hundred patients at four health centers across the United States were surveyed about asking sexual orientation and gender identity questions in their health centers.
