A Broken Bargain - Unchecked Discrimination Against LGBT Workers

"This brief is based on content from 'A Broken Bargain: Discrimination, Fewer Benefits and More Taxes for LGBT Workers,' a report that examines how job discrimination without legal protection makes it harder for LGBT workers to find and keep good jobs; and how LGBT workers receive fewer benefits and pay more taxes, which puts LGBT workers and their families at risk."
This publication provides a series of information including which states have non-discrimination laws and local level non-discrimination ordinances, and which do not. It also includes statistics about salary disparities between LGBT and non LGBT workers, a list of companies that have non-discriminatory policies in place, and information regarding non-discriminatory policies.
