"We must address the unique complications and challenges of aging with HIV. The fact that people with HIV are living into their 50s, 60s, and 70s is testament to the amazing success of HIV treatment. It is critical that policies address the particular needs of HIV-positive older adults."

Achieve Magazine is a quarterly journal on HIV prevention, treatment and research. This issue, from Fall 2009, focused on HIV and aging. Articles address issues of training older adults on prevention; research strategies; personal stories of facing the double stigma; exercise and wellness; and HIV's effects on the body as we age.
