"LGBT older adults display many signs of resilience, which are likely protective in terms of their physical and mental health."

Caring and Aging with Pride, the first national project funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute on Aging, provides new knowledge about the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults. Across the nation 2,560 LGBT adults ranging in age from 50 to 95 years old participated in this project. To access the full report, click here.
